Man I love indie dev bloggers. Dave Winer has been blogging since 1994, which is just so dang cool, and I found him about a year ago or so. I hadn't clicked through to read his About page until today and absolutely love the format.

A minimal website with a header and question words as collapsed section headers arranged in a central column.

Name at the top and a bunch of collapsible seachtions headed by the interrogative wortds in English - Who, What, Where, etc -which I just love for two reasons.

Reason: the first

I am terrible writing about me in the objective way. I wrote about my life, ideas, and such a lot. But trying to describe my self is just... so painful. Answering questions, however, is far easier.

Reason: the second

The structure should be very accessible. While his implementation uses DIVs for the container, I think you can achieve this with almost entirely standard HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The W3C has examples for a simple collapsible section that could do all of this.

Dave Winer's website displayed in Inspect on iOS. It shows the HTML side by side to the webpage.

I'm not trying to call this person out, just that I was struck by the simplicity and structure. I really like it. I think I'll try to make something similar for my About page.
