You only take pictures if you have your camera with you. That's the law. The unspoken covenant between eye and hand. Today—I had it. Only one shot. The others were abominations.

My fingers remembered the shape of the camera, but not the dance. Rust. My brain lagged. Everything felt... off. Like photographing through a dream that's trying to forget you.

The one frame that survived? It isn't great. But it is true.
