eleven: It is my sixth anniversary with Obsidian and all I got was this lousy link graph
This was going to be a "I'm exhausted" post but instead the process of actually starting to write woke up my brain. And now you have to deal with it too.
Effort is relative to your level of energy sometimes.
I created my first note in Obsidian on August 2nd, 2021. I was looking for a better knowledge manage,ent system than what I had been using - OneNote - because I only had access to that at work. I needed something to manage my life too.
The text of that note is as follows:

Apparently this DOES have an effect. Text role elements get read as single units of text by screen readers where otherwise they may abuse. Example would be non-CSS formatting tags which SRs break up because of the tag break.
Most of my notes are in accessibility. I mean, that has been my job for the last 13 years of my 22 year-long career.
I was deep in some technical interpretation fighting with one of our customers and was sick of not having a record of the things I knew. They kept bullying me for "not being an expert" but that's a whole other story. (It worked out and they are now one of our loudest advocates)

I do t out a ton of stock in the network graph as a useful tool, especially after 5 years of.... less than stellar linking hygiene... but it sure does feel nice to watch.
